With some 1,000 branches, Commerzbank operates one of the densest branch networks among the private German banks. Overall, the bank serves more than 18 million private customers and entrepreneurs as well as over 60,000 corporate customers, multi-national groups, financial service providers and institutional clients. Founded in 1870, this institution is listed on all major stock exchanges around the world. In 2017, Commerzbank’s 49,300 employees generated gross proceeds of € 9.2 billion.
While other banks close branches to save costs, Commerzbank invests in its network by adapting its branches to match customer needs and create meeting places with a feel-good ambience, equipped with coffee machines and discrete consultation areas. NORDLAND supports Commerzbank in this venture.
So far, NORDLAND has installed 98-inch media walls, 43-inch customer signage systems and numerous customer tablets in 11 flagship branches. Following the bank’s integral service philosophy, plans to install further digital modules in other branches are currently underway.
From site surveys to services provided: As a system integrator, NORDLAND has been partnering with Commerzbank since late 2016. Ever since launching the project in cooperation with the company Grassfish, NORDLAND has been providing consultancy services, delivery and logistics of soft- and hardware components, on-site installations as well as the entire range of after-sales services.
